- complement the training of masters in Informatics, providing advanced quality training, based on own research and with international recognition.
- solid training of human resources at the level of Computer Sciences and Technologies, capable of carrying out autonomous scientific research and contributing to the progress of science, the deepening of technological evolution and the widening of its application spectrum.
- provide the business fabric with specialists capable of solving challenges and solutions, and prospectively contributing to the development of new areas and business opportunities.
Respond to the heterogeneity of motivations of a wide range of professionals looking for 3rd cycle training in certain areas of Informatics.
The program is structured around a curricular component lasting two semesters and a research component leading to the completion of a doctoral thesis lasting six semesters.
The curricular component of the 60 ECTS program aims to provide specific training in the area of ??research, and contact with innovative and emerging themes through a cycle of seminars. The research activities include, in addition to the six semesters of doctoral thesis, a curricular unit of Thesis Planning in Informatics with 25 ECTS.
The PhD in Informatics starts two editions for each academic year, coinciding with the beginning of each academic semester.
