Paulo Sampaio, Assistant Professor from the Department
of Production and Systems (DPS) of the EEUM, took office as the new Vice-Dean

To Paulo Sampaio, this nomination represents “an
important as much as unexpected step”, he refers. “This is undoubtedly an opportunity

João Monteiro in his second mandate and thus be able to add my contribution to
the upward progress line the School of Engineering has been maintaining since
its creation in 1975”, he adds.

Industrial Management and Engineering in 2002 and his PhD in Production and

framework of the MIT-Portugal Programme. Paulo Sampaio is an elected member of
the School Council of the School of Engineering of the University of Minho
