Rui Lima, Assistant Professor from the Department
of Production and Systems (DPS) of the School of Engineering of the University
of Minho (EEUM), was honoured by the scientific publication “Production
Journal”.
Rui Lima,
Assistant Professor from the DPS of the EEUM, was granted the “Best Reviewer” award
of the Production journal. The award was granted during the XXXVII National
Meeting of Production Engineering (ENEGEP 2017), held in Joinville, state of
Santa Catarina, Brazil, from 10th to 13th October 2017.
The Production
Journal is an indexed SCOPUS and ISI journal which awards the journal’s best
scientific evaluator annually. This award is granted to those who – among all
the scientific reviewers – contributed significantly to the advancement of the
journal, through systematic reviews and recognised quality of articles
submitted for publication in the journal.
To Rui Lima, this
distinction “recognises the work of the journal’s scientific reviewers, within
the scope of the scientific Engineering and Industrial Management community. Therefore,
this award contributes to enhance the EEUM’s recognition amongst the scientific
community of this Engineering’s area”.
Created in
1990, the Production journal is a publication of the Brazilian Association of
Production Engineering (ABEPRO), an association that represents Engineering and
Industrial Management in Brazil. The journal aims at providing a communication channel
for academic articles in the Production Engineering field. This distinction was
granted during the main event of ABEPRO, ENEGEP, which gathered about 2000
participants in Joinville this year.
