Five students from the Medical Degree at University of Minho will go to the congress of An International Association for Medical Education (AMEE), which is the greatest international congress in this area.
The students, who are now in the 4th and 6th years of the degree, will present research developed during their academic path. Their participation in this event reflects the quality of medical education at the School of Medicine, since this is a highly renowned congress in this field.
Students submitted works on the evolution of personality of medical students throughout their degree; career choices of medical students throughout their degree; students' knowledge of image techniques; and the quality of an empathy scale for doctors used both in Portugal and in Brazil. The students are Miguel Moreira, Rafael Vasconcelos, Gil Sequeira, Cristiana Ferreira and Flávia Freitas (in the photo, left to right).
The AMEE congress takes place in Helsinqui, Finland, from the 26th to the 30th of august 2017.
