The School of Engineering seeks to strengthen its partnerships with international renowned institutions by organising international institutional visits and celebrating cooperation agreements. These activities result in opportunities and partnerships not only for education projects but also as far as participation in research networks and consortiums is concerned.
Between 2010 and 2015, under EEUM’s proposal to the Rectory of the UMinho, more than 40 cooperation agreements with international higher education and research institutions were signed, particularly related to student and staff mobility, joint research projects and joint degrees.
The EEUM also takes part in several international associations which promote education and research in engineering, not only in general but also as far as specialised areas are concerned.
