RoboParty 2017 Back

Annual initiative of the Department of Industrial Electronics (DEI) of the EEUM, the spin-off SAR and Bot'n Roll. The event consists of a three-day pedagogical programme with robots competing in dance, races and obstacle competitions.
The RoboParty ®, organised by the University of Minho and by botnroll.com, is a three-day and two-night "non-stop" event in which young students learn how to build their own robot with specialized supervision, in a simple and fun way. There is no need for previous electronics, programming and mechanical training, only motivation and will to learn.
Apart from basic training modules in electronics, programming and mechanics, there are also many sports and leisure activities. By the end of the event, each team is allowed to keep the built robot.
Throughout the lattest 10 editions, around 5000 enthusiats young students have participated in RoboParty, looking for having fun whilst learning electronics, programming and mechanics.
