Presidency of the EEUM
launches an institutional tour visiting all subunits, leading to the event
“Engineering for the Future: Workshop EEUM”, taking place in November 2017.
During 2017, the Presidency of the School of Engineering will take on a series of workshops, in an unprecedented institutional tour visiting all subunits of the EEUM.
Expected to start by the
end of March, the Presidency of the EEUM, the School’s Secretary, the
Department management team, the Programme’s Directive Committees, the Research
Centre management team and the representative of non-academic staff in the
Department’s Council will meet with each month, one workshop per each of the
School’s departments.
The Dean of the EEUM, Professor
João L. Monteiro, accompanied by the Vice-Deans, Professor António Gomes
Correia, Professor Rosa M. Vasconcelos and Professor Paulo Sampaio, will visit
all departments promoting 9 events, entitled “Engineering for the future:
Workshop DEB”, “Engineering for the future: Workshop DI”, “Engineering for the
future: Workshop DEC”, “Engineering for the future: Workshop DEI”, “Engineering
for the future: Workshop DEM”, “Engineering for the future: Workshop DEP”, “Engineering
for the future: Workshop DET”, “Engineering for the future: Workshop DPS”, “Engineering
for the future: Workshop DSI”, which will take place according to a calendar to
be soon announced.
By the end of all
meetings, a report including main conclusions and action programme to be
implemented until the current mandate’s conclusion will be drafted. The Final
Report will be presented and discussed during a general workshop taking place
in November, entitled “Engineering for the future: Workshop EEUM”.
