Composed of 20 students of the School of Engineering of the University of Minho, EPIC aspires at primacy in the junior national movement.
It is the first junior enterprise of the EEUM, providing services in engineering. Composed of students from all areas of the School of Engineering, collaborating with the junior enterprise is, for the most part, the first opportunity for them to apply technical knowledge to the business context.

Multidisciplinary teams are appointed to each project. Teams are made up of members of different departments of the enterprise, such as marketing, technical or financial. "The biggest challenge is always the first approach", says Ana Alfonso, student from the Integrated Master Programme in Industrial Management and Engineering (MIEGI) and president of the junior enterprise. Following the first ice-breakers, including the presentation of enterprise ideas and services, the corporate sector has been responding very positively to the challenges posed by EPIC.

The young entrepreneurs ensure that there are many projects and that their objectives are ambitious but reachable. "We aim at being most successful, not only here at the University, but I am also referring to the junior movement in general. We hope that the EPIC turns into a junior enterprise of national recognition", Ana Afonso concludes.
