The annual event aims to promote the interaction between
students, from courses with a strong computer science component, with the
businesses, both regional and national.
JOIN'18 - Informatics Engineering Days took place in the
11st to 13rd of June at the Gualtar Campus of the University of Minho. The
interaction between students, from the courses of the three cycles of studies
of the University of Minho with a strong component of computer science, and the
businesses is the main focus of this initiative, which has the support of more
than 30 sponsors.
The motto of this event's edition was the profiles of a
Informatics Engineering Master. During the three days there were scientific
sessions, both technical and tutorial, thematic workshops and the dissemination
of proposals for dissertation topics, research and development projects and
employment opportunities.
JOIN'18 was co-organized by the Student Group of Computer
Engineering, of the Department of Informatics of the EEUM, and the Student
Group of Computer Sciences of the School of Sciences of the UMinho.
