The celebration of cooperation protocols and agreements is envisaged as a relevant strategy for bringing together and consolidating collaboration between the School of Engineering and other international entities, constituting a fundamental practice within UMinho.
The doctorate in cotutelle is the regime by which a student can obtain a doctoral degree simultaneously from UMinho and a foreign university where there is a similar doctoral program, individually, by carrying out a period of study at the other institution, under a specific protocol.
The "European Doctorate" is a title associated with the degree of Doctor, conferred by European universities and mentioned in the Diploma, not constituting itself an academic degree.
